Billy Keith is a solar artist in Louisville, Kentucky. He uses fresnel lenses to capture the power of the sun and draws with a 2000 degree point of light, burning one of a kind images into wood. Over the last sixteen years he has dedicated his existence to creating art with the sun and his imagination. All pieces are freehand, burned with the sun, clearcoated, and made with love.

We always love being a part of this community get together. This interactive and free event transforms the library into an educational extravaganza, featuring more than 50 “how-to” sessions taught by local experts. Sessions include lessons in car and bicycle repair, crafts, dance, music, business, art, and more -plus gardening workshops and free plant giveaways.

Minnie Adkins is a world renowned and collected folk artist from Kentucky. She still creates wooden animal sculptures of roosters, birds and possums for Minnie Day. There are many other artists as well as a bluegrass band and food.

Pootfest
SamG Land, Georgia

Sam Granger is a well known folk artist who lives and creates in World Famous SamG Land, a roadside attraction in Clarkesville, Georgia. Pootfest is an invitational art show with “about a dozen of the most magical artists” he knows, such as Peter Loose, Tex Crawford, Eric Legge, Becca Cook, Michele Humphrey, and more.
